As our members are currently on lock-down, we trialled a virtual meeting last night. Considering we are all still familiarising ourselves with the technology, it was very successful. A real bonus was that members who live too far away to attend our face-to-face meetings were able to join in, even though it was 6am for one of them.
After a general ‘how are you?’ chat we discussed how we might record our experiences of COVID-19 for posterity. Janet then gave a brief presentation about religion in Buckland Brewer.
We will be meeting online again next month, when Liz Shakespeare will be speaking about her research for the book Fever, which will be very topical.
